English Language Arts
The TCT English program targets the development of a student's facility and enthusiasm for expressive and analytical composition. We first solidify a foundation of the grammatical and structural components of writing, then apply these skills to enhance fluid coherency of exploratory or persuasive thought within a composition. The aim is to hone a student's unique voice so they are best able to express themselves in a compelling and engaging manner.
Mathematics
The goal of the TCT Mathematics course is to convey a systematic approach to learning mathematics and a sense of confidence that will allow the student to excel in his or her math classes. Tutors concentrate on a review of fundamental concepts and then apply these skills to enhance a student's experience with mathematics. Through the course, students gain a sense of mastery of the material and an increased confidence in their ability.
